Transportation

Nuremberg is perfectly reachable by train. From the central station, take the U1 towards “Langwasser Süd” and get off at “Bauernfeindstraße” after about five minutes. From there, walk around 400 meters to the northwest.

There is also a Park & Ride area at the “Bauernfeindstraße” U-Bahn station.

Wi-Fi

The venue will offer both eduroam and BayernWLAN.

History & Local Attractions

Nuremberg has a rich cultural history. As one of the most important cities in the late Middle Ages where the imperial regalia (the imperial crown, the imperial cross, the holy lance, …) of the Holy Roman Empire were kept, the city’s most prominent landmark is the Kaiserburg, located near the city center. It is also possible to take tours along the old city walls and go underground through secret passages and tunnels.

We recommend the Cloud One hotel, which is conveniently located near the central train station and Tucher Mautkeller, where we will be having dinner.

Please book your accommodation well in advance, as a congress will be taking place at the same time.
